WHO WE ARE

The Fighting Life Boxing Program is an after-school youth boxing and academic empowerment program available, 100% free of charge, to children 7 to 18 years of age, as well as to students beginning in elementary school through high school education.  With the continuous growth in technology and available access to various social media platforms today, children (especially those ages 11 to 18 years) are easily exposed to and influenced by various social pressures, such as but not limited to, hatred, drug availability, and everyday violence.  Located out of UpperKuts Boxing Club in Ashland, Massachusetts, the Fighting Life Boxing Program was founded by Owner and Head Coach, AJ Thomas, as a resource and program to provide children with a positive outlet and outlook in life.

academics

It does not matter where our kids start. Our goal is improvement. The Fighting Life academic team will develop Individualized Education Program (IEP’s) for each of our students. We also provide daily tutoring, homework assistance, test prep, project completion assistance, as well as literacy and math intervention.

mentoring/tutoring

Like any sport, boxing creates discipline with structure of mental and physical fitness. The students will develop a strong sense of self by learning how to communicate, resolve conflicts and celebrate successes. Our mentors will do everything they can to help bring out the greatness in each child and to show them that there are other options
